Who we are

No one owns postpartum care.
Until now.

Everyone needs a village in postpartum. Let January be there for you.

January builds a modern village around the year after birth known as postpartum, including: 12 months of personalized care; an always-on concierge team; and a symptom and progress tracker.

The same gap opens again at perimenopause. That work is underway →

The moment of clarity

Traditional care stops after a single six week check up.

Recovery takes 12 months. Sometimes more. Plus a whole lot of questions.

  1. What we saw

Postpartum lasts a full year, but somehow nobody really owns it.

The risks don't end when the baby arrives, and most moms aren't taught what's normal and what's not. Add the sleepless nights, a newborn who needs everything, and figuring out who you are again, and it's a lot to carry alone.

  2. The reality

ACOG defines postpartum as a 12-month stage.

Most moms get one follow-up appointment, at six weeks — compared to 15-plus visits during pregnancy. The risks don't end there; the checkups just do. And the “village” that used to help has quietly disappeared, as women have babies later and live farther from family.

  3. What we built

    We built what was missing.

A twelve-month personalized care plan, a concierge team that's always reachable, and a symptom tracker that tells you when a number is outside the range your OB would want to know about. And we also help with the stuff no one prepares you for — going back to work, hair loss, relationships that look different now, the pressure of motherhood online. This is whole-person support for as long as you need it.

What women tell us

"[During postpartum] I spent most of time thinking of baby and less on self. Didn't have right context to know what self-recovery would look like."

Sarah M. — New York, NY · 8 weeks postpartum

"The support and resources I received increase my confidence as a first time mom."

Ashley — Princeton, NJ · 28 weeks postpartum

"[I needed] someone who could help me with things so that I can focus on what's important to me [during postpartum]."

Nora P. — Austin, TX · 40 weeks postpartum

What's next · Perimenopause

It happens again at 45.

Perimenopause runs four to ten years, and most women get the same treatment postpartum gets: a short appointment and a shrug. We are building the same model — thresholds, a care team, a plan over time — for it. It is next on the roadmap.

Membership today covers postpartum. Add your name and we'll come to you first.
